We’re proud to announce that Defensor Life Safety Systems is now ISO 14001:2015 certified, a significant milestone that highlights our commitment to environmental management and sustainability. Achieving this internationally recognised standard is a testament to our dedication to minimising environmental impact while maintaining the highest levels of operational excellence.
ISO 14001:2015 is a globally acknowledged framework that sets out the criteria for an effective environmental management system. It enables organisations to identify and manage their environmental responsibilities systematically, promoting sustainable practices and continuous improvement.
This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QSHE) Manager, Glen McCartney. Over the past year, Glen has spearheaded our efforts to prepare for this accreditation, ensuring our systems and processes align with ISO standards. His leadership was pivotal during our Stage 2 audit in November, which concluded with no non-conformances identified—a clear demonstration of the robust systems we have in place.
