Defensor Life Safety Raises £1,090 for Macmillan Cancer Support Through Golf Day and Coffee Morning. Thanks to everyone who donated for this important cause!
Over the past month, Defensor Life Safety has proudly hosted two successful fundraising events in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. The first, a Golf Day held on Saturday, September 21st at Stoneleigh Deer Park in Coventry, brought together golfers and non-golfers alike for a day of friendly competition, team building, and fun. This event not only raised much-needed funds but also strengthened bonds within the Defensor team.
Following the Golf Day, Defensor employees and supporters gathered once again for a Macmillan Coffee Morning, a beloved annual tradition across the UK. Since its inception in 1990, the Macmillan Coffee Morning has united millions of people to enjoy a simple cup of coffee while making a big difference. Last year alone, the event raised over £18 million for cancer support, and Defensor was proud to contribute to this year’s effort.
Thanks to the generosity of all who participated and donated, we are thrilled to announce that the combined total raised from both events is an impressive £1,090. This contribution will go directly to supporting the vital work Macmillan Cancer Support does for individuals and families affected by cancer.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in these events, from the golfers to the coffee lovers, and of course, to all those who donated. Your support helps make a real difference to the lives of those facing cancer. Together, we’re stronger, and together, we’re making an impact.
