The matrix is proof positive of maintenance testing and provides panel produced proof and a perfect audit solution. Defensor Life Safety Systems are a BAFE SP205 third party certified provider.

If you are the Responsible Person (or Duty Holder in Scotland) you hold the responsibility for the adequacy of your company’s Fire Risk Assessment by law, rather than the assessor themselves. To ensure you are using a competent provider you should be using a BAFE registered company.

Fire Risk Assessment is the very foundation of fire safety. Whether you own a single property or multiple properties, we have a safety solution. We understand that every business is different, and we will carry out a fire risk assessment based on your individual requirements to ensure you can achieve your short- and long-term goals.

We will provide a site survey of your building) and a review of your current site policies and procedures. The facts and information for the building and its management will be recorded; an action plan will be drawn up to ensure your compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Automatic Opening Vents

Defensor design and develop custom made Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) control panels that fully integrate with the building Fire Alarm System. Our integrated approach ensures that the system is fully monitored by the Fire Alarm System and cabling between control equipment and vents is minimised. This has the benefit of reducing both the cost and time involved in implementing this kind of control.

We developed this engineered solution in response to client led needs for a retrospectively fitted controller of existing vents. Defensor have successfully delivered this solution on many of the familiar named manufacturers of vents and the controls.

Gas Suppression

The purpose of a gas suppression system is to extinguish a fire by suppressing the oxygen levels in the atmosphere that fuel fire. These systems are typically found in areas of critical importance such as server rooms. They are equally used to protect precious and rare items found in museums and libraries.

These systems consist of two parts. The electrical aspect which the is the fire detection and control panel and the mechanical aspect which is the pipe-work, cylinders, nozzles and extinguishing agent.
